New Renault KANGOO Van

The New Renault KANGOO is comfortable, stylish, efficient and refined to provide the best driving experience and suit your business needs. This refined model made a huge step up from its predecessor, which led it to win the WhatVan? Compact Van of the Year 2022. This van was ranked in front of 14 light commercial vehicles from 11 different brands that have also been released in recent months. The latest model is available in three diesel engines, one petrol and all-electric. The van was released in the UK in September 2022. 

Brand New Renault KANGOO Design

The Kangoo has undergone a significant redesign, bringing it into line with the Renault family of passenger cars, and now has a very distinctive grille and headlight design with C-shaped LED daytime running lights. It’s also changed shape slightly, resulting in not only a larger rear loadspace but also a significantly larger cabin. The new model will be available in two lengths, offering a useful volume of 3.3m³ to 3.9m³ in the standard van and from  4.2 m³ to 4.9 m³ in the longer van. 

What's the Renault KANGOO like to drive? 

The new KANGOO has a low, car-like driving position that is comfortable for city driving and on motorways. The low driving position benefits the overall ride quality, with light and responsive steering and stability at high speeds. The driving experience varies depending on the fuel type. The electric model provides smooth, instant torque, and the petrol/diesel models offer different power outputs to suit your business and driving needs. 

You can choose between 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol, with 100hp or 130hp, or a 1.5-litre turbodiesel available in 75hp, 95hp and 115hp or the KANGOO E-Tech, which offers around 100hp from its 75kW motor and 44kWh battery. A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard but selected models will have the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. 

Car-like Interior 

The interior in the latest model has been designed to offer a car-like sophisticated feel for drivers in their daily commutes. The centrepiece is a new horizontal dashboard with a stylish appearance. The seats have also been redesigned to offer more durability and comfort. All these factors will make your daily commute worth it. The new model is equipped with more storage spaces, to help you stay organised and keep your business equipment safe. This includes an open tray at the top of the dashboard, a covered cubby behind the gauges, a handy phone mount to the side of the gauge cluster and plenty of space in the centre console. 

Loading Features 

To maximise the space and usability of this small, compact van, you can fold the passenger seat flat into the floor to load longer items. This is complimented with a two-part bulkhead that swings across to protect the driver from the items in the cabin. There is also an option to have an interior roof rack which folds away into the ceiling when not used. This is handy for carrying items including ladders. 

Latest Technology and Safety 

The latest KANGOO features the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system and new driving aids. This includes the permanent rear view digital interior mirror. This new system provides better rear visibility where a bulkhead obscures natural rear-view vision. The new Renault range has also introduced new advanced driver assistance systems to maximise convivence and safety on the road. Within Renault's infotainment system, you can access the climate controls and use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while you're driving.
