Yes, the Trafic is considered to be a highly reliable van. Its bigger sibling, the Renault Master, was named the most reliable Light Commercial Vehicle in 2025, and the Trafic shares much of its engineering with it. Previous issues of the Renault Trafic van were associated with common high-mileage issues (such as injector problems and timing belts), but these have been largely resolved in the latest version.
