Renault Trafic Graphite Edition: Everything You Need to Know about the UK-exclusive Renault Trafic
IN STOCK NOW AT LOADS OF VANS!
Van lovers in the UK have been served a treat as Renault has released a UK-exclusive special edition of the Renault Trafic, one of the most loved commercial vehicles on the roads. The Renault Trafic Graphite Edition was launched in April 2026 at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, and it turned heads. This exclusive edition takes the already impressive Trafic Extra Sport and transforms it into a sharper look with enough premium touches to make it stand out.Â
Here at Loads of Vans, we’ve been selling Renault Trafics longer than most, and the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition genuinely excites us, so read on to find out everything you need to know.Â
What is the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition?Â
The Graphite Edition builds on the Trafic Extra Sport, turning it into an impressive van specifically for the UK market, designed for sole traders and small business owners who want their van to reflect the quality of their work.Â
The Graphite Edition is available in both short-wheelbase (SL30) and long-wheelbase (LL30) panel van configurations.
What Does the Graphite Edition Look Like?
The Renault Trafic Graphite Edition sets itself apart from other vans thanks to its Slate Grey paintwork and gloss black 17-inch alloy wheels. The beauty is in the details of this exclusive edition, and the chrome side steps and the Graphite Edition lettering along the sides show the level of care put into this vehicle.Â
Its look is sharp and intentional, and it’s nothing like a van that’s just rolled off a hire fleet.Â
The outside looks are not the only thing that make it stand out: the cabin has been upgraded with faux leather seat covers, Graphite Edition badging on the dashboard and door sills, and GE stitching on the seats.Â
What Technology and Safety Kit Does the Graphite Edition Add?
Building on all the equipment that comes with the Extra Sport trim, the Graphite Edition adds two particularly useful bits of tech:
Adaptive Cruise Control automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you. On long motorway runs between jobs, this makes a real difference to driver fatigue by the end of the day.
Blind Spot Warning alerts you when a vehicle is in your blind spot during lane changes. In a medium-sized van carrying a full load, this extra feature really makes a difference.Â
Alongside these, you still get all the safety features from the Extra Sport, including:
- 360 Parking sensors
- Rear-view camera
- Automatic climate control
- Hands-free keycard with stop/start
- Active emergency braking
- Lane departure warning
- Driver attention alert

What Engines Are Available?
There are two engines available, both proven 2.0-litre turbodiesel:Â
Blue dCi 150 with 350Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Solid all-rounder for mixed driving, lighter loads, and anyone who prefers a traditional drive.
Blue dCi 170 with 380Nm of torque and a 9-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox. This is the one for anyone doing regular city work, heavy loads, or spending long days behind the wheel. The auto gearbox makes stop-start driving far less tiring, and the extra torque means the van never feels stretched.

Who Is the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition For?
The Graphite Edition was built for one type of buyer: the kind of tradesman who'd never turn up to a job in a scruffy van. This is the type of van you’d never want to park around the block. The Graphite Edition will do some of the talking, reflecting the quality of your work.Â
It suits you if:
- You want your van to make a strong first impression when you pull up to a client's property
- You cover significant daily mileage and value driver comfort over several hours
- You regularly drive in heavy traffic and want a van that makes that less draining
- You plan to keep the van for four or five years and want a premium specification from day one
- You view your van as part of your brand, not just a tool
- You travel in many ULEZ areas
It probably isn't the right call if you're on a tight budget, rarely meet clients at their premises, or simply need a reliable workhorse with no particular concern for its appearance. The standard Trafic Advance or Extra will serve you very well in that case.
Is the Graphite Edition Available to Order at Loads of Vans?
Yes, the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition is in stock at Loads of Vans. As one of the largest Renault van stockists in Surrey, representing Renault since 1953, we can help you get behind the wheel of a Trafic Graphite Edition, whether you're buying outright, financing, or leasing (subject to status).Â
We'd also recommend coming in to see it in person before you commit. The Slate Grey finish and black alloys look considerably better in the flesh than they do in press images, and sitting in the upgraded cabin gives you a much clearer sense of whether this is the right van for your working day.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Trafic Graphite Edition
Is the Renault Trafic Graphite Edition UK exclusive?
Yes. Renault has confirmed that this model is built specifically for the UK market and won't be sold elsewhere in Europe.
Can I get the Graphite Edition as a crew van?
No. The Graphite Edition is available only as a panel van, in short- and long-wheelbase configurations.
What colour does the Graphite Edition come in?
Slate Grey is the standard finish. This isn't an optional extra you pick from a colour chart. It's the Graphite Edition colour, and it's part of what makes the van look so distinctive.
Is the Graphite Edition more expensive than the Extra Sport?
Yes, it’s more expensive than the Extra Sport. In return, you get Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, the full exterior styling pack, and the upgraded interior.
Will the Graphite Edition hold its value well?
Special editions with distinctive styling and high specifications typically retain their value better than equivalent standard trims. The Graphite Edition's UK-only status and comprehensive spec should work in its favour when it comes to resale.
What about the Trafic E-Tech electric van?
Is that also available as a Graphite Edition? Not at this stage. The Graphite Edition is a diesel-only variant. The all-new Trafic E-Tech is a separate, fully electric model launching later in 2026 on an entirely new platform.Â
