Liquefied Petroleum Gas is cleaner, greener and cheaper to run than petrol or diesel vehicles. At 60p per litre surely you can't afford not to use it.
Cleaner
When petrol or diesel burns in the cylinder of an engine, this creates Carbon Dioxide and particulates that enter the air when exiting the exhaust. Due to the chemical construction of LPG, it burns in a much cleaner way reducing emissions.
Greener
Not only is LPG cleaner burning than petrol and diesel, its carbon footprint is lower. Why, because the UK relies on importing oil from around the globe which is then refined to make petrol and diesel. But LPG is found around the UK shoreline, so it's carbon footprint for delivery is far lower.
Cheaper
60p a litre is not the only saving you could be making. Road Tax, London Congestion charge and some parking facilities all offer discounts for alternative fuel vehicles, such as LPG.
How much could you save?
Savings will always vary from vehicle to vehicle. The miles per gallon of a LPG vehicle against an equivalent petrol is about 20% less. But factor in that the cost of the fuel is nearly 50% less and you are quids in. On average the saving against a petrol vehicle is about 40% less.
In real terms this means that if you normally spend £50 a week in petrol, then running a LPG vehicle could save you about £20 a week. That is £20 in your pocket for the weekend.
Promotion
If you are looking for something to make your business stand out from the crowd, why not sign write you new LPG van with big green LPG letters. That way you have something to shout about and people will remember your name.
Safety

In fact, it is no more hazardous than petrol or diesel tanks, some research suggests that it may even be safer. This is because the strict rules that govern LPG vehicles in the UK insist that valves are fitted to stop fuel from leaking if a fuel line is damaged in an accident. In addition the tanks themselves are significantly stronger than any petrol or diesel tank.
Fuel Stations
More and more fuel stations are now installing LPG at the pumps as its popularity increases. There are plenty of websites listing the closest to you or you can download apps for your iphone or upload the data to your sat nav. You can always rest assured with the knowledge that you can still run on petrol as well.
Have you ever filled your diesel van with petrol by mistake? If so, then you will know that this is a costly mistake. The design of the LPG filler nozzle makes this impossible.
